About the Rabbinical Alliance of America
The Rabbinical Alliance of America (in Hebrew, Igud HaRabbonim) is a national rabbinic organization founded in 1942. Today, our 900+ members are congregational leaders, religious teachers, chaplains, heads of Jewish organizations and communal leaders united in their commitment to traditional Orthodox Judaism.
The Rabbinical Alliance of America works to strengthen Jewish life and Jewish communities throughout the United States and beyond.
Our activities include training and professional development for rabbis, educators, and community leaders; educational programs; strengthening Jewish identity and heritage; youth and young adult initiatives; support for Jewish communities and institutions; combating antisemitism; and strengthening the connection between Jewish communities, the Jewish people, and the Land of Israel.
The RAA works in partnership with Jewish organizations and institutions in the United States and Israel, including programs conducted in cooperation with and with the support of KKL-JNF.

What we do
The Igud serves its member rabbonim and the wider community through an active Beth Din, kashrus, chaplaincy, education and lifecycle services.
Beth Din
An active rabbinical court hearing dinei Torah and halachic questions.
Kosher certification
Aleph K certification and kashrus guidance for businesses and the home.
Chaplaincy
Chaplains serving in hospitals, the military and institutions.
Rabbinic coaching and placement
Guidance, coaching and placement support for rabbis and communities.
Weddings
Officiation and guidance for a halachic Jewish wedding.
Education
Programs for schools, communities and adult learners.
End-of-life planning
Halachic wills and burial planning for families.
Learn Torah
Halacha, parsha and yomim tovim from our rabbonim.
Members gather monthly for a Rosh Chodesh seudah and each year for the Chai Elul Siyum HaShas.

The Rabbinical Alliance of America runs participation-funding programs together with partner organizations, supporting educational and community events run by synagogues, communities and schools. Open calls are listed here; further programs will be added as they open.

The Rabbinical Alliance of America, as part of its activities in cooperation with and with the support of Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL-JNF), invites synagogues, Jewish communities, and educational institutions to apply for participation in funding educational and community programs.
Proposed activities should incorporate Zionist education and KKL-JNF values, strengthen Jewish identity, and deepen participants' connection to the Jewish people, Israel, and the Land of Israel.
